Dental Hygienist - Richmond, TX

Texas licensed Dental Hygienist needed immediately in Richmond, Texas. Must have two years experience.  Experience with Developmentally Disabled preferred.


Job Description

  • Performs professional cleaning, scaling and polishing of teeth according to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners standards.

  • Develops and teaches a dental health program designed to prevent dental disease and improve quality of life.

  • Ability to evaluate clinical findings, medical history and previous medical/dental records and integrate that information into a plan for excellent dental hygiene.

  • Appropriately identifies and refers abnormal dental conditions to licensed dentist director.

  • Exposes, develops and mounts dental X-rays.

  • Accurately documents record of services rendered.

  • Provides infection control by using sterilized instruments and applying standard precautions for all dental procedures.

  • Works with persons who may have multiple physical, developmental, and behavioral disabilities which act as barriers to routine dental care.


Registration or Licensure Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Dental Hygienist by the State of Texas.



  • Current negative TB

  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR issued by the American Heart Association

  • Ability to pass TBI/FBI fingerprint background check and 7 panel pre-employment drug test



  • Full-time week days


Pay Rate

  • $35.00/hr



  • Full-time employees who work 40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance after completing the 90-day probation period.

  • Our company pays 50% of the medical insurance for the EMPLOYEE only. Dental and vision insurance is completely paid by the employee.
