Dental Hygienist - Richmond, TX
Texas licensed Dental Hygienist needed immediately in Richmond, Texas. Must have two years experience. Experience with Developmentally Disabled preferred.
Job Description
-
Performs professional cleaning, scaling and polishing of teeth according to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners standards.

Develops and teaches a dental health program designed to prevent dental disease and improve quality of life.

Ability to evaluate clinical findings, medical history and previous medical/dental records and integrate that information into a plan for excellent dental hygiene.

Appropriately identifies and refers abnormal dental conditions to licensed dentist director.

Exposes, develops and mounts dental X-rays.

Accurately documents record of services rendered.

Provides infection control by using sterilized instruments and applying standard precautions for all dental procedures.

Works with persons who may have multiple physical, developmental, and behavioral disabilities which act as barriers to routine dental care.
Registration or Licensure Requirements:

Licensed as a Dental Hygienist by the State of Texas.
Requirements

Current negative TB
-
Current Healthcare Provider CPR issued by the American Heart Association
-
Ability to pass TBI/FBI fingerprint background check and 7 panel pre-employment drug test

Pay Rate

$35.00/hr
Benefits

Full-time employees who work 40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance after completing the 90-day probation period.

Our company pays 50% of the medical insurance for the EMPLOYEE only. Dental and vision insurance is completely paid by the employee.
