STAFFING SUPPORT
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Hopkinsville, KY
Kentucky Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with one year experience with Mental Health, Behavioral Health, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities needed in Hopkinsville, KY. One year experience in long-term care preferred.
Duties
-
Provides aspects of direct care including administering medicaiton, assisting with combative patients observing volatile patient behaviors, assisting with admissions, discharges, and patient teaching as directed
-
Assists with activities, daily living, and other functions as assigned by the Registered Nurse
-
Responsible to Registered Nurse, Nursing Services Supervisor and/or Director of Nursing
-
Performs direct and indirect care
-
May be responsible for supervising Resident Aides and Ward Clerks
Requirements
-
Kentucky nursing license
-
Current negative TB
-
Current Healthcare Provider CPR issued by the American Heart Association
-
Clean criminal history - No convictions or outstanding charges that would constitute a felony conviction
-
Ability to pass fingerprint-supported state and FBI background check
-
Ability to pass a ten (10) panel, plus Oxycodone pre-employment drug test
-
Must be able to work one weekend a month, one major holiday and one minor holiday
Positions
-
Full-time: workday is 7.5 hours; workweek is 37.5 - 40 hours
-
Part-time PRN: Required to work a minimum of 30 hours per month

Full-time employees who work 37.5 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance after completing the 90-day probation period.

Our company pays 50% of the medical insurance for the EMPLOYEE only. Dental and vision insurance is completely paid by the employee.
