Registered Nurse (RN) for Transition Team - Augusta, GA

Georgia licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with one year experience with Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Addictive Disease needed immediately in Augusta, Georgia serving Region Two (2).


Region 2 serves the following counties in East Georgia: Baldwin, Barrow, Bibb, Burke, Clarke, Columbia, Elbert, Emanuel, Glascock, Greene, Hancock, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Jenkins, Jones, Lincoln, Madison, McDuffie, Monroe, Morgan, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Putnam, Richmond, Screven, Taliaferro, Twiggs, Walton, Warren, Washington, Wilkes, and Wilkinson.


This position requires travel throughout Region 2. The RN is responsible to perform audits and monitor the care of individuals who have been discharged from the hospital into a Group Home setting. Responsibilities include review of the individual's records to ensure accuracy and completeness, medical assessment of the individual, environmental check, assessment of the living quarters, and training of personnel as needed.



  • Georgia RN license

  • Current negative TB

  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR issued by the American Heart Association

  • Ability to pass GBI/FBI fingerprint background check and 7 panel pre-employment drug test

  • Must be able to travel and have reliable transportation 



  • Part-time, 13 to 30 hours per week


Pay Rate

  • $30 - $33/hr, depending on experience

  • Mileage reimbursement ($0.56/mile)
